چکیده
Introduction: Dentin hypersensitivity (DH) is a commonly encountered dental complaint, management of which often challenging to dentists. It occurs when dentinal tubules are patent both at the pulpal and oral surface. widely accepted that DH affects function quality life. Thus, it necessary for dentists manage properly. Objective: The objective this study was assess efficacy VivaSens Propolis in comparison Gluma reducing cervical dentin hypersensitivity. Methods: A randomized clinical trial, double-blinded, parallel-group conducted among forty-five patients. They were randomly allocated into three different groups (n=15): (positive control), VivaSens, Propolis. Tactile evaporative methods used pain using Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) patients with abrasion, complaint score recorded preoperatively, immediately after application, one week month postoperatively. Data analyzed SPSS version 11.5 Microsoft Excel 2010. Mean NPRS scores calculated. Results: All desensitizing agents significantly reduced from baseline all subsequent follow-ups (p<0.001). Kruskal–Wallis test elicited no significant differences mean difference positive control stimuli all-time intervals (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Gluma, effective relieving DH. No statistically found follow-ups.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of two desensitizing agents in the reduction of dentin hypersensitivity in a randomized, double-blind, split-mouth clinical trial. Seventy-seven teeth from 13 patients that presented some degree of sensitivity to probing and/or air stimulation were treated with one of the following desensitizing agents: Oxa-Gel (G1), Sensi Kill (G2) and placebo...

The aim of this randomized, controlled, split-mouth, clinical study was to differentiate and clinically qualify the effectiveness of different desensitizing agents in the treatment of painful symptoms caused by cervical dentin hypersensitivity (CDH). Two hundred-and-fifty-two teeth of 42 patients were distributed into seven groups (n = 36): G1 - placebo; G2, G3, G4 and G6 - fluoride varnishes; ...
